Last Friday, Esmee was celebrating the visit of Sinterklaas with her family. She gave a talk to the class about Sinterklaas, brought in some homemade pepernoten for us to try and even taught us a funky Dutch song! I must say, our Dutch singing was incredibly good. (Although, I’m sure Esmee would disagree!!)
Mrs Crossan was very impressed with Esmee’s presentation. She gave Esmee a headteacher’s award for all of her effort!

Kate has been singing the song you taught the class every night and has been trying to teach us some Dutch. (we’re not doing very well)
